SD Installation

In order to let SSP communicate with HP Openview ServiceDesk the SmtxSd45Connector.war file needs to be deployed to tomcat and needs to be configured.

1.Stop Tomcat.
2.Copy SmtxSd45Connector.war to the tomcat webapps folder.
3.Start Tomcat, the SmtxSd45Connector.war file will be extracted and a folder SmtxSd45Connector is created. There are 2 configuration files:

application.properties

The file can be found at: webapps\SmtxSd45Connector\WEB-INF\classes\conf\application.properties and has the following settings:

log4j.properties

This file is used to control the logging level. This should not be touched without understanding the log4j settings

 

4.Re-start tomcat
