Regular monitoring

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The SSP7 application will normally work without any regular human maintenance, however some checks should be done regularly in order to keep the application running smoothly:

Database Health
oCheck if the database is still performing optimally. Disk space should be sufficient for database growth. Indexes might be needed on some table for performance improvements.
Disk space
oCheck if the available disk space is still sufficient for storing the SSP attachments and Log files
oClean up old log files to free up disk space
Tasks
oCheck the current status of tasks. When going to the admin menu and selecting Tasks, SSP will show an overview of the latest status. In case errors are displayed, check the corresponding logs for deeper analysis.
