The resuming of process steps can be useful in case people have given an incorrect reply and want to redo a process step, without the need of the requestor to resubmit the ticket. Resume may also be used in case an external adapter was not able to complete its action, because of unavailability of the target system. The failed adapter step can then be resumed and the process will still continue.
To resume a process step, find the link presented in the top right corner of a process step:
In case the link is clicked, a confirmation is asked, when confirmed, the process will refresh and continue from this step onwards.
In the logging, this action is saved.
In case a process step is started for a second time, due to the resume action, the previous answers and actions will remain available, but the latest actions and values will be used by decision steps.
