Person unable to login

A Person record exists in SSP, but the user is not able to login.


This problem can have multiple causes and the administrator should investigate which is the one in the issue at hand. The following list shows possible causes:

Accounts are not automatically created for new users
Person can't be found in related systems like HP Service Manager of ServiceDesk.
Password can't be verified within LDAP


Check if the option "Autocreate SSP7 account?" is set to true. In case this option is set to False, manually create a new account.
Check if the user query is defined correctly and can retrieve the correct information for the users that can't login
Verify that your LDAP integration is correctly configured.
